Once a barn, this former owner/architect converted living space, was in need of purpose and style. Removing depth and width, but adding height allowed the fireplace to anchor the room while drawing attention to the now beautiful beam work and wood ceilings. The large space can handle the dark Fireclay brick facade while also hiding the television.

Modifying the baseboard, crown moulding, and beams and a fresh coat of white allowed vertical continuity and brought much needed brightness to the space. A living area was create by the fireplace allowing the other side of the room to house a future kitchen…
